NCS Lab’s research into nueromorphic sensing was recently featured on Purdue AAE’s AeroGram site. This research explores the advantages of neuromorphic sensors (and event cameras, in particular) in robotic sensing and autonomous decision making, allowing robots to react nimbly to changes in their environment just as a human would.

Yeongjun is a visiting PhD student from Seoul National University, South Korea. Yeongjun Jang received the B.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering in 2022, from Seoul National University, South Korea. He is currently a combined M.S./Ph.D. student in Control and Dynamic Systems Lab CDSL Lab at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Seoul National University, under the supervision of Professor Hyungbo Shim. His research interests include learning based control with guarantees and encrypted control systems.
